Kuala Lumpur is the capital of Malaysia. It exceeded my expectations as far as being a modernized city. Staying in the Bukit Bintang area, at first I summed up the entire city as being old. After getting out of that area I realized that Kuala Lumpur is just as modern as any major city in the USA. Skyscrapers, upscale shopping and international businesses are prominent in the inner city.
